We are soliciting Maine filmmakers to create short films that look at the phenomenon known as “Jewish Mothers” Films can be no more than 10 minutes in length.

After that it’s up to you. Be creative, dramatic, funny, stereotypical, cutting edge, poignant, animated, informative, earnest or careless but just be willing to engage and entertain our audience.

Submissions must be received by November 30, 2010. This is a juried competition. All filmmakers will be notified by January 15, 2011. Accepted films will be screened at our March 2011 Festival.

Completed submission will be on DVD only and accompanied by a submission form you can download here. If you want your film returned you must include a SASE.
